The pick up arrangements are a marvel. You can select 4 options, treble, bass, wild dog and split sound. The treble and bass are obviously the neck or bridge pick ups, the wild dog is apparently an out of phase setting, and the Split sound is I understand where the coil under the treble three strings on the bridge pickup was paired with the coil under the three bass strings in the neck pickup. Whatever it is, it gives a lot of scope for a wide range of tones from this beast of a bass.It comes fitted with the famous Burns TriSonic pick ups, which give a great tonal range, from sumptuous to raw and edgey. The white Bison shown here is white bodied with a new black scratch plate, chrome hardware, and a luxurious plush lined Burns hard flight case, which is Taylor made for the Bison. I must say there is no stinting with the case, it's worth £100 on its own in my opinion.-Alder body with high gloss polyester finish -Hard rock maple neck with bound rosewood fingerboard -Original 1961 design flat headstock -Three Burns "Tri-Sonic®" pickups -Master volume and tone controls -Guitar features Burns "Knife-edge" tremolo system Also supplied with the Bison are a comfortable wide shoulder strap, a cleaning cloth, tool set and paperwork/documents.ShareThe Bison is brand new, with 12 months warranty, supplied with warranty cards and authenticity paperwork.Available in Black, or white. The black has white scratch plates.
