This guitar has won high praise in the European press and was awarded Guitar of the Year in 1999 and 2000. What a lot of people like about the Marquee is the range of tones it can produce. The Burns own stable made Rez-O-Matic pick ups are very well regarded, and the push/pull function on the tone controls can expand the sound even further. This particular guitar has more too it than meets the eye. From a distance, the body shape is that of the ubiquitous Strat. The gold finished hardware, 43mm nut width and the zero fret. This one is finished in a gorgeous Shadows White polyester body, with a deep maple neck.The scratch plates are in a superb tortoiseshell finish with black pick ups and controls.
