click for larger image	Burns Of London Batwing Guitar Ref: batwing The Batwing model is a flat headstock version of the already successful Marquee, which in turn is based on the mega popular Hank Marvin Custom guitar. The Marquee has the more elaborate scrolled headstock. The Batwing exhibits the flat one sided distinctive batwing shaped headstock, with chrome hardware. If you don't know who Hank is, he is/was the front man for the Shadows, a very popular 60s group who were Cliff Richards backing group for a long time. The classic vintage sound they hallmarked was based around the Burns guitars made at the time. We still sell a large number of Burns instruments to tribute bands and 60s groups, keen to replicate the look, sound and feel of the great decade of music! What a lot of people like about the Batwing is the range of tones it can produce. The Burns own stable made Rez-O-Matic pick ups are very well regarded, and the push/pull function on the tone controls can expand the sound even further.
